Trash to treasure
From river cleanup to creative recycling
Trash to Treasure brings together environmental action, circular innovation, and hands-on making for a full day of discovery.
With the support of Maas Cleanup, we’ll start by cleaning up litter along the river Maas, helping protect our local environment. Next, we’ll visit Brightlands Circular Space to discover how modern recycling technologies can give plastic waste a second life. Finally, we’ll head to Doorspace makerspace, where we’ll shred and press collected plastic waste into new material, exploring how discarded objects can become valuable resources.
Organised in collaboration with Maas Cleanup and Brightlands Circular Space, this event offers an opportunity to take action, learn about circular solutions, and experience the potential of turning trash into treasure.
