We’re excited to welcome MaakLab as a guest at Doorspace during our Open Day! Known for their creative and hands-on approach to making, MaakLab will be running this workshop and sharing their passion for design, craftsmanship, and experimentation. It’s a great opportunity to meet their team, discover their work, and experience one of their interactive workshops right here at Doorspace.
Using special shrink plastic, you’ll draw, colour, cut, and transform your own designs into miniature works of art. Whether you create your favourite animal, a funny character, a name tag, or an abstract design, every keychain is completely unique.
During the workshop you’ll:
- Learn how shrink plastic transforms into durable miniature creations
- Design and colour your own illustrations
- Cut and prepare your artwork
- Watch your creation shrink into its final form using a heat tool
- Finish your keychain with rings and accessories to take home
This workshop is suitable for all ages and is perfect for anyone who enjoys making something personal and creative. Whether you’re a child, a teenager, an adult, or simply curious to try something new, no previous experience is needed, and all materials are provided.
