We are excited to introduce you to our CNC router induction course, designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to operate this versatile machine. Whether you're new to CNC routing or looking to enhance your expertise, this course will guide you through the essential steps for safe and effective use.
The course will begin with a thorough introduction to the CNC router, covering its key components, including the spindle, bed, and control system. You’ll learn how the machine interprets digital designs and translates them into precise cuts and engravings on various materials such as wood, plastics, and metals. We will also explain the compatible file formats and the software used to create and upload your designs.
Safety is a key part of the induction, so we will focus on safe operating procedures. This includes an overview of the necessary protective equipment, proper material handling, and key safety features of the CNC router, such as emergency stops and proper ventilation. You’ll also be guided through machine maintenance tips, ensuring the router stays in optimal condition for long-term use.
Once the safety instructions are covered, the course moves into the hands-on training section. You’ll have the opportunity to prepare and load a simple project into the CNC router, adjust the settings, and run the machine under the supervision of our instructor. We’ll demonstrate how to correctly secure materials to the bed, set the tool path, and adjust the spindle speed and cutting depth for different materials.
